Before your first visit with TytoCare, follow the steps below to set up your device. You can also follow the instructions received with the kit.
- 1. Download the TytoCare app. (Note: You do not need to create an account.)
- 2. Download the Corewell Health app. Tap the "Login to MyChart" banner in the middle of the landing page. Create an account or login.
- 3. Navigate to the menu and search for and select "TytoCare Pairing", which will launch the TytoCare app. Follow the in-app instructions to complete Device setup and pairing.
TytoCare has the following exam capabilities: Camera for taking photos and videos of the skin and the throat, thermometer for taking temperature, otoscope for looking inside the ears, stethoscope for heart, lung and abdomen sounds and capturing heart rate.
Yes, the TytoCare Medical Exam Kit is designed to replicate the exams performed during an in-office exam. TytoCare provides your physician with high quality digital sounds of the heart and lungs, high quality digital images and video of the ears, throat and skin, and body temperature.
TytoCare is approved for purchasing with HSA/FSA funds.
Because the TytoCare Medical Exam Kit is HSA/FSA approved, all you need to do is check out on tytocare.com using your HSA/FSA debit card. You are also able to use another form of payment and apply for reimbursement through your plan at the discretion of your provider.
TytoCare Stethoscope is FDA cleared and all other devices comply with FDA requirements.
Anyone in your household may use the TytoCare Medical Exam Kit. Only one device is necessary per family.
No, there is no monthly subscription fee to use TytoCare at this time.
TytoCare provides an on demand physical exam that captures Heart, Lung, Ear, Throat and Temperature exams. Make sure to pair your TytoCare device as soon as you receive it so that it is ready to use when you need it. You may need to use your TytoCare when you or a family member is feeling sick or even for wellness checks.

Exam data is sent via an encrypted, secure network and is stored on our HIPAA-compliant cloud. Only you and your healthcare provider can determine who can access your medical records.
Yes. Tyto is lightweight, compact, and portable. It is designed for remote use for patients physically located in Michigan at the time of the exam. All you need is the Corewell Health app, a smartphone or tablet, and a Wi-Fi connection.
